I became interested in herbs and their healing abilities while
living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There was an abundance of information locally as Santa Fe is known for its many alternative
healing choices. I was drawn specifically to liquid tinctures and their advantages. High quality, fresh and dried
herbs were easily available so I began tincturing. When
my husband and I moved to Costa Rica in 2003 one of the very few things we brought with us was the last bottle of Echinacea tincture. It was a surprise and concern, when we needed more, that I found only one
type of Echinacea and it was in capsule form. There are various health shops in Costa Rica, but I found nothing more
in any farmacia, macrobiotica or homeopath or naturopath doctors' offices. Then not 5 kilometers from our home, I discovered
an herb farm with a shed of beautiful purple Echinacea plants. I continued to tincture. Natural Herbal Tinctures now has over 65 single liquid extracts and 16 wonderful blends. In addition to several years
of tincturing, I have my Master Herbalist (MH), Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) and Nutritional Consultant (NC) certifications
through the Global College of Natural Medicine. Your comments, suggestions and questions are very welcome. Please use the email address on my Contact Us page. Blessings, Toni Norman MH, HHP,
